Individual The Little Gym Franchise Positions

Gym Director - The Gym Director is a full-time career-level position responsible for the overall performance of the business. Typically, the Gym Director reports directly to the owners of a The Little Gym franchise location and general responsibilities often include: the hiring, managing and training of staff, teaching classes (on a limited basis), managing all day-to-day operations, maintaining the facility/equipment, providing outstanding customer service and selling the program to new and existing customers. Daytime, evening and occasional weekend hours are generally required.

Program Director - The Program Director works very closely with the Gym Director, and is primarily responsible for ensuring that The Little Gym program is taught according to the extremely high standards established by The Little Gym International in every class, every day. The typical Program Director spends approximately 60% of their time teaching, with the balance of their time devoted to day-to-day operations and to building a top-notch team of individuals who are committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Instructor - In many The Little Gym locations, an Instructor is considered either a full-time or a part-time position, and most work very closely with the Program Director teaching and leading classes at all levels. This position is often ideal for after school employment or for college students and others seeking a more flexible work schedule. A background in working with children is generally preferable, and gymnastics experience is certainly a plus.

Birthday Bash / Parents' Survival Night Instructor - A Birthday Bash /Parents' Survival Night Instructor is responsible for delivering outstanding birthday parties and/or an evening of entertainment (generally one Friday or Saturday evening per week) at The Little Gym. This role calls for an energetic, fun-loving person who enjoys playing games and has the natural ability to put a smile on the faces of young children.

New Business Specialist - A New Business Specialist (NBS) is a career-level position, and is essentially a business consultant specializing in the pre-opening phase of a new (or resale) The Little Gym business. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and will possess superior time management skills. In addition, a NBS must be able to work independently and be adept at situational analysis and problem solving. Following is a brief list of several critical position responsibilities:

    * Assist pre-opening gyms to open on time and on budget.
    * Work with new owners to ensure that they are prepared to open their The Little Gym by guiding them through a detailed list of activities including:

          * Site Selection
          * Budgeting
          * Business Plan Creation
          * Locating and Hiring Staff
          * Marketing
          * Facility Build

    * Out Coordination of all Training phases Act as the primary communication liaison between the individual franchise owner and The Little Gym International, Inc. Corporate Management Team

Operations Advisor - An Operations Advisor is essentially a full-time consultant, primarily responsible for providing day-to-day guidance and hands-on assistance to existing The Little Gym franchise owners. Following is a brief list of several critical Operations Advisor position responsibilities: Support franchise owners as they strive to meet individual growth objectives Provide support regarding all day-to-day operations including: program quality, customer service, marketing, staffing and facility management Ensure the quality and consistency of all gym operations with regard to established Franchisor-mandated standards Act as the primary communication liaison between the individual franchise owner and The Little Gym International, Inc. Corporate Management Team

Franchise Support Specialist - The Support Specialist plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Franchise Support Department, and is vital to the success of both new and existing The Little Gym franchise owners. A Support Specialist is primarily responsible for the distribution and tracking of various support materials for individual franchise owners, as well as the processing of all computer-based supply-related orders and training-related materials. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have strong oral and written communication skills and possess superior multi-tasking abilities.

Franchise Training Department

Franchise Trainer - A The Little Gym Franchise Trainer is primarily responsible for creating, coordinating & facilitating various types of training events for new & existing The Little Gym franchise owners around the world. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, articulate and will possess superior organizational skills. In addition, a Franchise Trainer must be able to work independently as well as in a group setting and be comfortable and confident as a presenter and group leader. Following is a brief list of critical position responsibilities: Provide and facilitate training related to all day-to-day gym operations including, but not limited to: program, customer service, marketing, staffing, budgeting & planning.

    * Create training presentations and exercises pertaining to all day-to-day gym operations listed above.
    * Coordinate all aspects of on and off-site training events.
    * Keep all training manuals up-to-date with the most recent TLGI standards.
    * Track, coordinate, facilitate and report on New Franchise Owner's training schedules.
    * Complete special projects assigned by the Director of Training
